Donations

To donate books and other materials, visit Beacon Reads, a bookstore run by the Friends of the Howland Public Library, at 309 Main Street.  Donations are accepted when Beacon Reads volunteers are on site, so call the HPL front desk at 831-1134 x 104 to check that Beacon Reads is open before loading up your car!  Due to recycling costs, Beacon Reads only accepts saleable materials in good condition.  We thank you in advance for your consideration.

The Howland Public Library is a public institution that relies upon a combination of public and private funds and grants to help us provide the best possible service to the community. Donations are always needed and welcome.  Our address is: Howland Public Library, 313 Main Street, Beacon, NY 12508.
