Frequently Asked Questions

How are library-sponsored programs selected?

The library hosts programs from individuals and organizations that support our mission. All programs must be open to the public and free of charge. If you are part of a community or nonprofit group looking for space for meetings, please contact the Library Director.

How do I suggest a program?

You may complete our program proposal form to suggest a program at the Library. Applicants will be included on a list of potential future Library partners. Library programmers will only contact an applicant if the Library is interested in partnering with them. Applicants may not reach out directly to Library staff.

Can I get paid to do programming at the Library?

The Library is almost never able to offer payment or an honorarium for these presentations. The Library’s programming budget is planned six months to a year in advance. Presenters are only considered for a one-time programming, we do not allow weekly or monthly opportunities.
