Museum & Park Passes

At the Howland Public Library, we believe that learning and inspiration should happen everywhere—not just within our walls. That’s why we’re so excited to help you explore the incredible culture and natural beauty of our region! Whether you’re planning a family day of discovery or a quiet afternoon in a state park, your library card is the key to your next great experience.

This program is made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Friends of the Howland Public Library. Their support ensures our community has access to these wonderful local destinations!

Eligibility & Rules

To ensure everyone in our community has a fair chance to enjoy these passes, please review the following guidelines:

  • Passes are available to Beacon City School District residents, ages 18 and older.

  • You must have a library card in good standing (no outstanding late fees or lost items).

  • To protect the passes and keep them available for the next patron, they must be returned in person to the front desk during library hours.

Helpful Hints

Before you head out on your adventure, we recommend a few quick steps:

  • Confirm Destination Hours: Always check the museum or park website directly to verify their current hours and any holiday closures.

  • Plan Your Arrival: Review the destination's website for specific parking instructions and driving directions.

  • Special Requirements: Some locations may require a timed entry reservation in addition to our library pass. Be sure to check their "Plan Your Visit" page before you leave!
